The two sides are under red alert situation as Royal Challengers Bangalore has won just 3 out of 9 games while Dehli just 2 from equal 9 games. DD perhaps has lost all chances to move further in the finals while RCB still has some hope, although may be wrong, for further movement. RCB needs to won nearly every incoming match while DD has a free hand. So, the match will be enough tough as the batting line-up of both the teams is suffering a lot.
Despite losing the last game after establishing a big target of 191, RCB would be happy of coming Yuvraj Singh in form and helping out the already in-form AB de Villiers. So, the lower middle order has become reliable while in top order Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli are contiuously dismaying the side. If Yuvi and De Villiers do not do good, RCB will collapse and they might be all out under 100 as they have shown in the previous games. So, one of Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli needed to add the runs, minimum a half-century is must from top order. Vijay Zol is also be proving a damaged weapon for its own side, so he might be replaced.
When we see the bowling strength of RCB, it is mistly dependent upon Mitchell Starc and Ravi Rampaul, both pacers, who are doing good till now and are bowling some awsome deliveries. Harwish Patel is also a good bowler while no other is important to discuss, that’s they couldn’t defend a big target of 191. So, alongwith batting, bowling also will be the weak point foe RCB.
DD is at the bottom of the points table as both batting and bowling units are below the par. DD is served by some awesome t20 specialists but in-field the awesome is one who is in-form. Skipper Kevin Peterson along with his opener partner Quinton De Cock has been failed in all games. In fact, beside JP Duminy and Kidhar Jadhav the whole baatting line is suffering. JP Duminy has made back-to-bqck fifties while Kidhar Jadhav has been dismissed once in 5 games. One of the costly boys of IPL 2014, Dinesh Karthik, failed in start of the event but showed some better innings later. As DD is most probably out of the event, they will try to amuse the fans in remaining matches as they are out of the pressure of competition.
Bowling line has been more bad compared to batting. No bowler is picking wickets except Nile who has been injured. Parnell has been economical but he is not picking the wickets. Muhammad Shami and Jaydev Unadkat have conceded a lot, while Lakshmi Shukla has also been below the standard of good pacers. Spin side is also not showing its magic Rahul Sharma and Shahbaz Nadeem have been pretty expensive while DD might be happy of Imran Tahir although his inclusion in last match did not do well.
So, if we talk about that who will be the winner it can be said that if Yuvi and De Villiers collapse, it would be very difficult for RCB to manage the match. So, I will announce DD the favourite with 60% chances and it might be a low scoring game.
